The EZ-FilingŪ
program is a complete debtor-oriented Federal Forms package.
(Federal Forms are defined as the Official Forms and Procedural
Forms released by the Administrative Office of the United States
Courts and required to filed with the petition.)
But in addition
to all the Federal Forms required to be filed with the petition, the EZ-FilingŪ
program provides many district-specific forms to aid you in your
bankruptcy practice. This reduces the amount of time you must spend
outside of the EZ-FilingŪ program and helps you maximize your
efficiency.
We do our best
to stay current with district-specific form changes, but with 94
districts, it is not always possible. This is because courts rarely
provide their form changes to software vendors, and even when they
do, they do not notify vendors in advance of the form-change
effective dates. That’s why we ask for your help in our endeavor to
maintain these forms: when you learn of a form change, fax or e-mail
us a copy of the change along with a link to the page on the court’s
Web site that states the local rule and that documents the form
change and effective date. We will usually incorporate the change
into the very next software update.
You have the control …
If in the
EZ-FilingŪ program you can’t find the form you’re looking for,
chances are it’s not an Official Form as defined above, or it’s a
procedural form that happens not to be included in the program. To
enable you to take control of this situation, the EZ-FilingŪ program
includes all the tools necessary to create any
document, including a powerful built-in text editor and a set of
merge fields for commonly used information (which eliminate
repetitive data entry).
